Municipal Court
The Maize Municipal Court is the judicial branch of the City of Maize. The Court is responsible for adjudicating violations of city ordinances, including traffic infractions, misdemeanor offenses, and code violations.
The Court’s mission is to provide fair and impartial justice, ensure due process, and treat every individual with dignity and respect.

Court is typically held on the first four Wednesdays of each month at 4 p.m.
Payments
Fines and court costs may be paid in the following ways:

Please note: All payments must be received by the due date listed on your citation or court paperwork to avoid additional fees or penalties.
Court Procedures

Defendants are entitled to be heard and present evidence.

You may represent yourself, hire an attorney, or request a continuance if additional time is needed to secure representation.

If you plead guilty or no contest, fines and court costs will be assessed.

If you plead not guilty, your case may be scheduled for trial before the Municipal Court Judge.
Judge & Court Staff
The Municipal Court is presided over by a Judge appointed by the City Council. The Court Clerk manages scheduling, records, and payment processing.
