Planning & Zoning
The Planning & Zoning Department helps guide the growth and development of the City of Maize to support a safe, attractive, and sustainable community while preserving the city’s character.
The City is currently updating its Comprehensive Plan, which will help shape Maize’s future growth and priorities. The presentation shared with the Planning Commission on December 4, 2025, outlines key goals and considerations for this update. Community feedback is an important part of this process, and residents are encouraged to review the presentation and participate in the accompanying survey.
